Keith Barry is the world’s leading TV Mentalist and Brain Hacker. His brand new TV show for The Discovery Channel “Deception with Keith Barry” aired in the US in 2012 and is now being shown worldwide in over 110 countries.
Over the last year, working in LA, New Orleans and Paris, Keith served as Chief Mentalist and Hypnotist Consultant on the new Summit Entertainment action heist movie ‘Now You See Me’. The movie stars Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher and Michael Caine. Keith worked extensively with Woody Harrelson for the movie, in which Woody plays a mentalist, and premiered May
21st in New York. Keith also worked with Woody for his appearances on both Letterman and The View in the US.
Keith has been awarded both the prestigious Merlin Award for "Mentalist of the Year 2009" and “Best Magician in Las Vegas 2009” as voted for by the Las Vegas Review Journal. He plans a return to Vegas in 2014.
Keith Barry’s brand new live stage show ‘The Dark Side’ debuted on Jan 1st 2013 in Ireland and follows on from his hugely successful sold out ‘8 Deadly Sins’ show over the previous 18 months. Keith’s new show will be his most controversial to date as he explores everything that encompasses 'The Dark Side'. Keith will take the audience on a theatrical rollercoaster ride where they will participate in astounding feats based around the occult, ouija boards, remote viewing, past life regression, and unspeakable acts. He will open the door and invite the audience with him on this journey of exploration.
2012 also saw Keith complete his firsttour of Australia and New Zealand with his hit show ‘Brain Hacker’. The show toured all major cities with sold out audiences and standing ovations every night. More recently, Keith signed a TV deal with one of Australia’s most successful production companies which will take him back down under for 4 months to do a new Australasian TV series.
Also in the US, after viewing Keith’s live stage show in LA in 2006, CBS offered Keith his own US TV Special “Keith Barry – Extraordinary”. This was aired on CBS and was their first magic special in years and followed on from the success of Keith’s MTV show “Brainwashed”. Keith has appeared numerous times on The Ellen Show, The Jimmy Kimmel show, The Sharon Osbourne show and Conan in the US Keith has now starred in over 40 hours of TV which have been shown in over 120 countries.
